We made it to episode 70! Though we had a different agenda announced last week we decided (in classic 17 Waverly fashion) to take a sharp left with a different idea. Therefore, this week we hope you join us as we talk about DAD movies. No, not the deadbeat kind, but rather films depicting the best of the best.

For this episode’s discussion, we have ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ (1993) starring Robin Williams, Pierce Brosnan, and Sally Fields @ (0:03:45) and ‘John Q’ (2002) starring Denzel Washington, Robert Duvall, Anne Heche, and Kimberly Elise @ (0:28:45). The classic movie for the week is the 1962 adaptation of ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ starring Gregory Peck, Mary Bedham, Brock Peters, and, once again, Robert Duvall @ (0:51:30). Lastly, while on the subject of fathers, we just couldn’t leave without reviewing season 2 of the best super-powered daddy issues on Netflix, ‘The Umbrella Academy’ @ (1:09:45).
